About the role

Noble Steel is seeking an experienced First Fix Carpenter to join our team in Pooraka, South Australia. This full-time role is integral to the construction of high-quality residential and commercial properties, where you will be responsible for the first stage of the carpentry process.

What you'll be doing

Installing and supervising light gas steel frames such as wall frames, roof trusses, and floor joists etc

Fitting door frames, windows, and other pre-made components into the building structure

Ensuring all work meets industry standards and building regulations

Working closely with the project manager and company to maintain efficient workflow

Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the first fix stage

Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

What we're looking for

Recognised qualification in Carpentry or a related trade

An experience as a First Fix Carpenter in the residential or commercial construction industry will be beneficial

Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to high standards of quality

Effective communication skills to collaborate with the project team

Commitment to workplace health and safety
