As an Onsite Product Support Technician based remotely at BHP Olympic Dam, you'll play a pivotal role in testing, cleaning, and repairing Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) on underground mining equipment. This role demands a solid mechanical background, proficiency in auto electrical work, strong communication skills, and computer literacy. You'll work in shifts of 4 days on and 3 days off, collaborating closely with mine operators.

Responsibilities:

· Perform hands-on cleaning, installations, and detailed reporting as required.

· Conduct thorough electrical diagnostics and mechanical repairs.

· Utilize baking ovens for exhaust filter cleaning and repairs.

· Operate advanced diesel exhaust gas testing equipment.

· Act as the primary on-site representative for Aletek, ensuring exemplary service and client satisfaction.

· Maintain meticulous records of machine information and completed repairs.

· Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies during all tasks.

· Present a professional image during customer interactions and community engagements.

· Actively participate in company-sponsored training to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

· Foster a collaborative and supportive environment with colleagues and management.

. Physically Capable hands on manual work from time to time .

Qualifications:

· Demonstrated integrity, respect for diverse perspectives, and strong interpersonal skills.

· Extensive mechanical background with proven experience in hands-on repairs.

· Proficiency in auto electrical work and troubleshooting.

· Excellent communication abilities, with the capacity to engage stakeholders at all levels.

· Previous experience as a field service technician preferred.

· Enthusiasm and a positive approach to work.

· Familiarity with the mining industry is advantageous.

· Willingness to undergo required background checks and medical tests for site access.

. Perferably have a Forklift and overhead crane licence
