The Role: IT Network Manager

At Uniting AgeWell, we believe that technology can transform the way we care for and support our aging community. As an IT Network Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in this. Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:

• Oversee network remediation across approximately 20-25 sites, driving improvements in WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi networks.
  
• Coordinate with external network vendors to ensure successful remediation and continuous optimization.
  
• Be the technical owner and subject matter expert for all IT network aspects, ensuring the environment meets performance and security standards.
  
• Provide technical escalation and lead troubleshooting to resolve network issues across the organization.
  
• Manage and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls), ensuring smooth configurations, patching, and setups.
  
• Work closely with internal teams, liaise with vendors, and manage relationships to ensure network services are delivered according to SLAs.
  
• Support network projects and assist in the transition from legacy systems to modern IT infrastructure.
  
• Help mentor and manage 1 direct report.
  

About you:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in network support management role.
  
• Proficient in managing and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud networks, with hands-on experience in network remediation and optimization.
  
• Skilled in managing vendor relationships, ensuring service delivery within SLAs, and liaising with internal teams and external providers.
  
• Experience with Aruba network switches, Wi-Fi access points, ClearPass for access control, and network monitoring using Aruba systems.
  
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, network security, and performing vulnerability assessments.
  
• Ability to lead a small team, mentor staff, handle network escalations, and proactively resolve technical issues in a distributed network environment.
