As a vital member of the Product team, you will communicate effectively and articulate and product strategy and requirements to both the Engineering team and various stakeholders across the organisation. You will collaborate closely with Engineering leaders to assess development priorities and provide guidance to squads throughout the release process. Your focus on maintaining a high-quality, relevant, and strategically aligned product will play a key role in realising foundU's business objectives.
In this role, you will:
Represent the voice of the user throughout the development process.
Maintain the product vision and strategy that aligns with the business goals and customer needs.
Assist in maintaining the product roadmap, prioritising and balancing the development of new features, small improvements and fixing existing issues.
Manage the product backlog, clearly articulating the requirements and user stories for the development and QA teams.
Utilise processes to ensure quality of released work through collaboration with the quality assurance and design team.
Engage with stakeholders, including customers, development teams, and senior management, to gather requirements and ensure their needs are met in the product development process.
Collect, collate and use data, analytics, and customer feedback to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with the customer facing, marketing and sales teams to ensure that the product releases are launched successfully to customers.
Maintain realistic goals and communicating status updates to internal stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress, challenges and adjustments to the plan.

That's why we're looking for a pragmatic and passionate Product Owner with a blend of experience, curiosity and attention to detail – someone who is excited to shape the future of payroll and workforce management solutions.
Our dream candidate:
Has at least 2 years of product management experience. You’ve successfully managed product backlogs, prioritised features and met delivery milestones.
Brings some familiarity with payroll, HR or workforce management functions within businesses. A desire to deepen this expertise and stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Is a a confident communicator who can clearly articulate the product vision, roadmap and requirements to a wide range of stakeholders – including customers, senior leaders and development teams. You’re a natural story teller who brings others along on the journey.
Possesses strong problem solving skills and the ability to use data and insights to inform decisions. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making decisions in complex situations.
Has proven experience working cross-functionally in agile, faced-paced SaaS environments.
Isn't not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed and take ownership – of both your wins and your mistakes.

You’ll get bonus points if you have:
Experience working on platform-scale or data rich product.
Undergraduate qualifications in Business Systems, HR, IT, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
