The Role:

Looking for a meaningful leadership opportunity? Communicare invites you to become the Alliance Manager for the Family Support Network (FSN).

In partnership with Langford Aboriginal Association and Karla Kuliny Aboriginal Corporation, Communicare leads the Fremantle Rockingham Family Support Network (FSN), providing integrated services to support vulnerable children, youth, and families. FSN delivers targeted assistance to families encountering challenges such as mental health issues, domestic violence, homelessness, family conflict, and parenting difficulties, aiming to reduce the need for tertiary intervention.

As an Alliance Manager, your role will encompass:

Leading and managing the Assessment and Coordination and Intensive Case Management streams.

Taking responsibility for the performance of the service network and practice development.

Overseeing ACCO and service partnerships to ensure strong collaboration.

Ensuring culturally responsive and secure services tailored to Aboriginal families.

This is a Permanent Full-Time position working 76 hours per fortnight, with the flexibility to be based in Fremantle or Rockingham. The role involves travel between the two sites.

Selection Criteria

Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or other related area.

Strong understanding of Aboriginal culture, family dynamics and experience working directly with families living in complex circumstances, using a trauma-informed approach.

Substantial experience in managing similar community services, targeting vulnerable families and children.

Experience in managing large funding contracts, service deliverables and reporting against funding agreements.

Experience in managing and leading high performing teams.

Experience in and commitment to providing individualised support to vulnerable families with complex issues to build safety and wellbeing for children.

Experience in building and maintaining engagement of multiple stakeholders in a service or project.

High level communication and relationship building skills.

Satisfactory Police clearance (not older than 6 months from the issue date)

Unrestricted drivers’ licence
