Role and Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware, including routers, switches, CCTV, and access control systems
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems or escalate them to appropriate team members.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including Windows servers, Active Directory/DNS/DHCP, and Microsoft 365 applications.
Assist with the setup and maintenance of network and server infrastructure.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets and inventory.
Collaborate with team members to improve existing systems and processes.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees.
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
Familiarity with network protocols and infrastructure, including routers and switches
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills & Attributes:
Experience with Windows operating systems
Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions
Experience with help desk ticketing systems
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
Understand the core logic of IT support
