About the role
As a Site Manager at Solve Civil, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of small construction projects across Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains & the Central West . This full-time position requires an experienced professional who can effectively coordinate teams, manage multiple site operations, and ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Manage and lead a team of construction workers, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient and productive work processes
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and address any issues that arise
Oversee the implementation of site safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any risks or challenges that may impact the timeline or budget
Participate in the planning and scheduling of construction activities to optimise efficiency and productivity
Provide guidance and support to more junior members of the construction team, helping to develop their skills and expertise
What we're looking for
Significant experience as a Site Manager or in a similar construction supervisory role
Proven track record of successfully managing the delivery of complex construction projects from start to finish
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as an understanding of relevant industry regulations and safety standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
Proficient in project management, problem-solving, and decision-making, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team of construction workers
Quality & safety mindset
Ability to day travel as required across Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains & Central West (limited overnight stays)
Relevant construction-related qualifications, such as a degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field beneficial
Current drivers Licence required, machinery tickets beneficial
