About the organisation and role

A highly respected government organisation is currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to take on a locum position within their Community Aged Care team, based in Wantirna. This would be working on a highly skilled multi-disciplinary care team, performing home based OT assessments with CHSP clients, prescribing equipment and supporting clients in maintaining independence within their homes.

About You

To take on this opportunity, you will need at least 6 months experience working as an Occupational Therapist, ideally with some experience working within Community Care with frail, aged clients or clients with a disability. SWEP certification is essential for this role. This is a highly flexible role, starting ASAP, you chose the days/hours you want to work and home visits will be booked, working around your availability

What you need:

• Current AHPRA registration
• Available to work a least 2 days per week - can work up to three days - your choice. (between Monday and Friday) - this is a short term role over a 4-6 week period.
• Current Police check
• Demonstrated experience working in community care
• SWEP Certified - or willing to gain certification
