About the role

Bright Horizons Psychology is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and passionate team of healthcare professionals, supporting clients in the Templestowe Lower, VIC 3107 region. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning and delivering evidence-based interventions to help our clients achieve their health and wellbeing goals.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' functional abilities, needs and goals

Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address clients' physical, cognitive, sensory and psychosocial needs

Providing one-on-one and group therapy sessions to help clients improve their independence and participation in daily activities

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to client care

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client documentation and records

Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with evidence-based practices

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a community or rehabilitation setting

Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills, with a focus on improving clients' functional independence

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality, client-centred care

Proficiency in using relevant technology and software for client documentation and reporting
