We are looking for 2 people to help look after our local parks, sportsgrounds and public spaces. This job is hands-on and outdoors, working with a team to keep these areas clean, safe and tidy.

Key responsibilities

Mow lawns, cut grass and weeds, and clean up rubbish.

Look after plants, trees and garden areas.

Help with small landscaping jobs.

Clean toilets and change rooms at sports grounds.

Check parks and report any damage or safety problems.

Use tools and machines like mowers, brush cutters and tractors.

Follow work plans and complete jobs on time.

About you

Have done similar outdoor or maintenance work before.

Can safely use tools and machines (like mowers and brush cutters).

Can work well with others and follow instructions.

Understand basic safety rules at work.

Have a current driver’s licence.

Have a National Police Check Certificate

Have a Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Tasmania)

What we offer you

Base salary between $63,298.52 and $67,972.07 will be offered (dependent on skills and experience) + 12.5% superannuation

Permanent, full-time

Fortnightly rostered day off
