About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our Estimating team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to expand their experience and make a tangible impact across a diverse range of projects — including civil, electrical, and renewable energy infrastructure.

You will play a key role in pricing and delivering projects, utilising your core civil engineering skills in a dynamic and growing company.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of bid development and tender preparation based on IFC drawings and project design.

Develop detailed cost estimates, programme plans, and resource requirements for competitive bids.

Analyse variances between project outcomes and original estimates to improve accuracy.

Define project scope, allocate resources, and resolve design or delivery challenges.

Engage with subcontractors/suppliers to obtain and assess quotes; manage procurement.

Set up new projects including compliance, documentation, safety planning, and scheduling.

Identify and mitigate risk early to ensure project success.

Liaise with network authorities and clients, ensuring high standards of project administration.

Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying and acting on variances.

About You

Qualifications & Experience:

A degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience in both project delivery and estimating (preferred).

Skills & Knowledge:

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in estimating software such as Expert Estimator.

Solid understanding of construction processes, civil engineering, and cost control.

Familiarity with Australian building codes and industry regulations.
