What you'll be doing
To provide a high standard of specialist oral health care, including oral health education to allocated patients in the disciplines of Prosthodontic, Periodontics and Endodontics. The position is responsible to the Network Director- Oral Health through the Head of Department of Oral Restorative Sciences.

Essential Requirements

• Registration: Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a General Dentist and a Specialist.

Selection Criteria

1. Sound clinical knowledge in one of the following: Prosthodontics, Periodontics or Endodontics, demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position.
2. Evidence of continuing education in Dentistry and either Prosthodontics, Periodontics or Endodontics and self-monitoring/audit practices that support credentialing to the position and are commensurate with the scope of practice requirements for the position.
3. High level interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Demonstrated commitment to teaching and supervision.
5. Demonstrates the skill and attitudes appropriate for practice as a senior dental officer.
6. Familiarity with research concepts and commitment to support basic, applied, or clinical research within the Department.
7. A demonstrated ability to work independently within a large team.
