What you'll be doing
To provide a high standard of specialist oral health care, including oral health education to allocated patients in the disciplines of Prosthodontic, Periodontics and Endodontics. The position is responsible to the Network Director- Oral Health through the Head of Department of Oral Restorative Sciences.

Essential Requirements
- Registration: Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a General Dentist and a Specialist.
Selection Criteria
- Sound clinical knowledge in one of the following: Prosthodontics, Periodontics or Endodontics, demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position.
- Evidence of continuing education in Dentistry and either Prosthodontics, Periodontics or Endodontics and self-monitoring/audit practices that support credentialing to the position and are commensurate with the scope of practice requirements for the position.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching and supervision.
- Demonstrates the skill and attitudes appropriate for practice as a senior dental officer.
- Familiarity with research concepts and commitment to support basic, applied, or clinical research within the Department.
- A demonstrated ability to work independently within a large team.
