Bookkeeper/Accountant - Aged Care
Hourly Rate: $46-49 + Super
Location: Fully Remote
Contract Length: 2 Months (Immediate Start)

We're seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant for a 2-month temporary role supporting critical finance and data migration projects in the aged care sector. This role is fully remote and requires prior experience in a similar position within the aged care industry - no exceptions.

THE ROLE

• Manage and reconcile aged care claims
• Review and align monthly budgets, statements, and purchasing activity
• Oversee and contribute to the data migration from one software to another
• Level out unspent Home Care Package (HCP) funds to align with approved care plans
• Cross-check and confirm services delivered for reporting
• Support project planning and execution related to finance and system transitions

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in an aged care financial role is mandatory
• Strong understanding of HCP financial processes
• Proven ability to manage complex budgets and financial reporting
• Experience with ETools, Employment Hero, Xero, Shift Care, MYOB platforms preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Working With Children check + National Police Check both required

BENEFITS/PERKS

• $46-$49/HR + Super
• Fully-remote working from home role
• Some flexibility on hours of work - 8:30am - 4:30pm or 9am - 5pm
• 5 days/week preferred - Option for Part-time 4 days if required.
