About the role

Sunraysia Orthodontics and Dental is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join our team in Mildura, Victoria. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and providing high-quality patient care.

What you'll be doing

Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, preparing materials, and maintaining a sterile and organised work environment

Ensuring patient comfort and addressing any concerns or questions they may have

Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and documentation

Sterilising and disinfecting equipment, instruments, and work areas

Ordering and managing dental supplies to ensure the practice is well-stocked

Providing exceptional customer service and building positive relationships with patients

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a general dental or orthodontic practice

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide empathetic patient care

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow strict infection control protocols

Proficiency in using dental equipment and computer software for patient record-keeping

A positive, team-oriented attitude and the flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment
