On behalf of a reputable NSW State Government Department, we are seeking Client Service Officers to provide high quality phone-based customer service support on a short-term contract. This role is initially a short-term assignment, with an immediate start and potential for ongoing opportunities. It is 100% office-based in Parramatta and paying $43.28 per hour + super.

The Client Service Officer is responsible for managing a caseload of vulnerable customers to deliver financial management services to customers and make decisions on their behalf. Day-to-day, you will independently manage a caseload, coordinating and prioritising actions in response to these requests.

Duties:

• Engage with newly appointed Private Managers, providing essential information and support to assist them in their role.
• Establish and maintain secure records for each customer, ensuring all relevant information is obtained and stored.
• Assist in creating action plans to address immediate, medium, and long-term financial needs of their customers.
• Maintain customer databases and generate regular reports to identify trends, system issues, and areas for service improvement.
• Actively listen to concerns and inquiries from Private Managers, customers, and stakeholders, working to resolve issues.
• Work closely with staff from different divisions to achieve quality outcomes focused on customer needs
• Balance competing demands and priorities to achieve favourable outcomes for all clients and stakeholders

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers with a range of circumstances and abilities.
• Exceptional organisational skills with proven ability to manage high volume caseload with strong focus on prioritisation and delivering a high level of service.
• Strong collaboration skills that will allow you to build and develop working relationships and open channels of communications across all teams and external stakeholders
• Flexibility and adaptability - willing to rotate across all teams within to ensure optimum service is delivered to customers.
