About the role

Apex Services Australia is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team on a contract basis in Perth, WA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programmes. What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities

Develop and implement customised treatment plans to address clients' specific goals and needs

Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, including but not limited to, activities of daily living training, fine and gross motor skills development, and cognitive rehabilitation

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to client care

Document client progress and update treatment plans accordingly

Maintain accurate and detailed records in compliance with professional standards and organisational policies

Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification

Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred, ideally in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting, though we are also open to hiring recent graduates.

Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and the multidisciplinary team

Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in using relevant software and documentation systems
