About this opportunity:

Work closely with Council and the local community to Develop, implement and manage Council's Community Development and Engagement policies.
Using a Community Development framework, work with the community to identify needs and facilitate access to information, resources and support. Develop and implement solutions that meet those identified needs.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Tertiary qualification in Community Development/Social Sciences or related qualification.
  • Blue Card - It is an essential requirement for this position to hold a Working with Children Blue Card. Under Queensland legislation, you must hold the Blue Card prior to commencing employment - No Card, No Start policy. If you currently do not hold a Blue Card, we recommend you commence the application process when you apply for the position.
  • QLD "C" class Driver Licence or interstate equivalent. Note: interstate licences must be transferred to QLD within three (3) months of commencement.
