Restoration Technician – Water, Mould & Fire Remediation.

Location: Sydney & Surrounding Regions.

We are seeking dedicated and motivated technicians, whether experienced or new to the role and eager to learn.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, mitigating, and restoring properties affected by water damage, mould contamination, and fire-related incidents.

You will play a crucial role in helping clients recover their properties and content items, ensuring safety, and preventing future damage.

Key Responsibilities

Water Damage Restoration: Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture control to prevent further damage.

Mould Remediation: Identify, remove, and treat mould contamination, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.

Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration: Clean and restore fire-damaged structures and contents, removing smoke residue and odours.

Damage Assessment: Inspect affected properties, document findings, and develop restoration plans.

Equipment Operation: Utilise specialised restoration equipment and tools.

Safety & Compliance: Follow industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental guidelines to ensure proper restoration practices.

Client Communication: Work closely with homeowners, businesses, and insurance adjusters, providing updates and guidance throughout the restoration process.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records, including photos, reports, and job progress updates.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience in water damage restoration, mould remediation, or fire restoration is valued but not essential—we welcome both experienced and entry-level applicants.

Previous experience in building, a trade, or labouring is valued but not required.

Ability to work in challenging environments, including water-damaged, mould and fire-affected properties.

Strong problem-solving skills with a creative, out-of-the-box approach and keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively interact with people from all backgrounds.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.

Police Check Required.

White Card is beneficial but not essential.
