About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our team at in North Melbourne. As a Motor Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and functional for our customers. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the success of our well-established automotive services business.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical issues in vehicles, including engine, transmission, suspension

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as services, oil changes, brake inspections

Test and inspect vehicles to identify and address any problems or concerns

Maintain accurate records of all work completed and parts used

Ensure the workshop is kept clean and organised

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a relevant trade certificate

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic, preferably in a similar automotive workshop environment

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues

RWC certified is a bonus and will be negotiable in salary

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
