Newcastle Glass & Aluminium is a well-established family run Window fabrication and Installation Business in Newcastle offering High Quality Semi commercial Windows, Doors and Security products as well as commercial Aluminium Window and Door Fabrication/Installation. We are currently looking to grow our Fabrication and Installation Team and are after an experienced, dedicated fabricator / Installer to join our small but growing team.

Our product suite includes Capral Aluminium Urban Plus Designer Windows and Doors; Amplimesh Supa Screen Security Screens and Doors; and Capral Aluminium AGS Commercial windows and doors.

About the Role

We are seeking an Experienced Fabrication and installation Specialist to join our team working mainly in our Broadmeadow Factory, however the opportunity for Commercial Aluminium Installation, Security Screen Installation and On-Site Laboring will definitely be available and experience in these fields will be look upon very favorably. This is a full-time position with hours from 7.30-4pm Monday to Friday. As we grow and expand, this role can change and grow with the business depending on the eagerness of the candidate to learn.

The successful candidate will:

· Be well presented, punctual and reliable

· Have excellent Communication skills and a positive can-do work ethic

· Be physically fit – this position can be physically demanding

· Unloading and loading of trucks

· Follow health and safety protocols while working with tools and machinery to prevent accidents and injury

· Must be competent in the use of hand tools

· Experience with cutting aluminium and copy routing

· Be organised and actively contribute to keeping the factory clean and tidy.

· Have an eye for detail and ability to produce high quality workmanship

· Hold a current Australian Driver’s License

· General Induction Card

· Forklift License is desirable but not a deal breaker
