Merrimac Park Private Care, a 96 bed residential aged care facility located in Merrimac on the beautiful Gold Coast.

The Role

As a key team member, assist and be a part of the fabulous & creative team in planning, implementing, and evaluating activities and lifestyle programs designed to enhance the quality of life the residents that lives here, by considering their physical, social, and emotional needs, facilitating engagement through recreational activities, outings, and social events.

Support their daily needs and goals.

What you need

Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or a similar qualification will be highly regarded

Experience in residential aged care is ESSENTIAL

Experience in delivering activities and programs to the elderly and experience working with people living with Dementia is ESSENTIAL

A current First Aid Certificate (with CPR)

Current National Police Check

Have a genuine passion for making a difference for people

Strong verbal and written communication skills and documentation skills

Role will include weekend and weekday shifts
