Mercy Community Aged Care Townsville supports and inspires people in need to live healthy lives within inclusive communities. We are presently looking for the right person to join our team as a Lifestyle Facilitator, supporting the team to deliver a range of meaningful activities to our residents.

As a Lifestyle Facilitator you will be responsible for providing lifestyle services and support to residents, helping them maintain their independence and participate in a full and purposeful life through a range of activities. The role is a Permanent Part Time position.

$31.00 - $33.00 per hour plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available!

What you’ll be doing:

Facilitate and lead activities, engaging directly with residents and encouraging participation from residents, relatives, and staff

Offer flexible lifestyle programs with various activities, including 1:1, group, and morning/afternoon/evening support

Collaborate with care staff and family to conduct lifestyle assessments for residents

About You:

Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or a Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle

Knowledge of documentation standards for lifestyle activities

Previous aged care experience
