📍Brisbane - $50-$55 ph + Super + Vehicle + Fuel Card

APAC FM is seeking an experienced Electrical Security Technician to join one of our global clients in Brisbane. In this dynamic, field-based role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and integration of a wide range of electronic security systems including CCTV, alarms, access control, and intercoms across defence and commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and commission electronic security systems including CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and intercoms

Assist cabling team with running and terminating cabling (when required) mount hardware, and configure software

Complete full system testing and ensure functionality to spec

Ensure installations meet Australian standards and client expectations

Work collaboratively with clients, project managers, and other trades on-site

Deliver quality outcomes within project timeframes and budgets

Systems & Technologies You’ll Work With:

Access Control & Alarms: Gallagher, Tecom, Inner Range Integriti

CCTV & Intercoms: Hikvision, Avigilon, Bosch, Aiphone

Network & Power: PoE switch installations, UPS setups, low-voltage wiring

Integrated Platforms: Honeywell, Genetec (a bonus if you’ve got experience!)

What You’ll Need:

Open Cabling Licence & Security Licence (Installation)

Restricted or Full Electrical Licence (essential)

Solid experience installing CCTV, alarms, access control, and intercoms

White Card + ability to obtain Police Check, Defence Medical & NV1 Clearance

LVR & CPR (current or willing to obtain)

EWP, Working at Heights, Working with Children Check – a plus
