We are working with a large QLD State Government Department, who are seeking a Site Supervisor to join their team, based at their Ipswich office. This role will see you responsible for inspecting residential properties, managing contractors, communicating with internal and external stakeholders and completing relevant paperwork.

In this role, you will:

• Undertake on-site WHS inspections including plant and equipment checks.
• Participate in and facilitate WHS audits under the direction of the Regional WHS Adviser.
• Ensure all job documentation includes safe work method statement or other risk assessment documentation as appropriate

• Provide supervisory services in respect to the delivery of construction, maintenance and upgrade works.
• Coordinate and undertake the delivery of a high-quality scoping services including inspections/surveys of building elements and construction materials.
• Produce high quality tender and quotation documentation for building projects and prepare accurate and timely estimates, quotations, and project trade packages including material lists and construction programs.

About You:

• A trade qualification and previous experience supervising trades
• Possess a good understanding of Procurement frameworks
• Knowledge of WH&S and compliance activities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office
