Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable professional looking for your next contract opportunity? We're currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, Australian-owned tech company based north of the river. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, close-knit finance team and make a real impact during a period of growth and transition.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (On-site)
Contract:6 to 12 months potential to go permanent

Your new role

As the Accounts Receivable Officer, you'll be responsible for managing large-scale billing-primarily for government departments and schools. You'll also assist with reconciliations and may occasionally support the front desk, so a flexible and team-oriented attitude is key.

• Manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes
• Issue and follow up on large invoices (primarily to government and educational institutions)
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely payments
• Provide occasional support to Reception as needed
• Report directly to the CFO and collaborate with a small finance team

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable
• Strong Excel skills (essential)
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with a proactive approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
