About You You’re an experienced, reliable mechanic with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence. You take pride in your attention to detail and can handle a busy environment while maintaining high standards.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Certificate III or higher in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Proven hands-on experience in a workshop as a Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining quality workmanship
• Strong diagnostic and technical skills with a sharp eye for detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Dependable, adaptable, and customer-focused approach
• Solid understanding of workplace Health & Safety requirements
• Valid Full Manual Driver’s Licence (essential)
• Availability to work on a rotating Saturday roster

Your Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on the mechanical condition of vehicles
• Perform mechanical repairs and servicing across engines, transmissions, suspension, and more
• Report required work, services, or repairs to the Store Manager and input into reporting systems
• Test drive vehicles and complete final quality checks before returning to customers
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workshop
• Assist with general workshop duties as needed
