About the role

We are looking for a talented Security Technician to join our team at Tecsec Security Solutions. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and access control, across various locations in Perth and WA.

Our clients range across Hospitality, Retail and Commercial industries including Government and Councils.

What you'll be doing

Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting CCTV, alarm, and access control systems

Providing preventative maintenance and repairs to existing security systems

Responding to service calls and resolving technical issues in a timely manner

Liaising with customers to understand their security requirements and provide tailored solutions

Maintaining detailed records of all work performed and updating system documentation

Adhering to all relevant safety and compliance standards

What we're looking for

Relevant technical qualification or certification in security systems, electronics, or a related field

Minimum 2 years' experience as a security technician, with a strong understanding of CCTV, alarm, and access control systems used in Australia.

Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders

A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to various job sites.

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
