About the Role

• Prepare financial statements for small to medium-sized businesses
• Prepare income tax returns for individuals/sole traders, partnerships, companies, and trusts
• Prepare and lodge BAS (Business Activity Statements) and IAS (Instalment Activity Statements)
• Manage payroll processing and Single Touch Payroll (STP) filing for clients
• Liaise with the ATO regarding client-related matters
• Assist with preparation of cash flow forecasts, business plans, and related correspondence
• Draft letters, reports, and other documents as required
• Provide clear and practical taxation advice directly to clients

What You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
• CA, CPA, or IPA certification, or actively working towards completion
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or Handisoft
