Intermediate Tax & Business Services Accountant
Location: Bayside - This role is on-site
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 plus super

Our client, a leading firm with a national presence and offices in every capital city across Australia, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Tax & Business Services Accountant to join their dynamic team on the Bayside of Brisbane.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of tax returns and financial statements, primarily for clients in the agriculture sector.
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) and a handful of SMSF work.
• Conduct tax research to support senior accountants in tax planning and compliance matters.
• Assist in responding to client queries related to tax and accounting matters.

What We Are Looking For:

• A Business Services Accountant with at least 1 year of experience in Business Services & Tax.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for building client relationships.
• An eagerness to learn and a genuine interest in developing your career in tax and business services.
• Work collaboratively within the team to meet deadlines and client expectations.
• Participate in internal training and development programs to improve technical skills.
