Margot Bar is an iconic lakefront small bar in Canberra.

With a laser focus on quality, fast espresso in the morning and a relaxed wine-sipping, pizza eating vibe in the afternoon (Saturdays and Sunday's), we’re now looking for more friendly and vibrant barista professionals and wine lovers to join the tight-knit but expanding crew!

You’ll work with a great bunch of crew, and enjoy one of the most prominent and picturesque locations in our city on a daily basis.

Weekday availability is a must for this round of applications in regards to COFFEE.

Margot offers espresso drinks, pastries and gourmet Toasties every day, with a wine list, cocktails and hand-cut cheeses of an afternoon alongside wood fired pizza.

Baristas will be focused primarily on coffee service but may be required to assist with a small amount of food prep depending on the season. RSA is definitely a plus, and more shifts may be available for those with bar experience.

About the role:

This is a casual position, with flexible or set shifts available

This is a small ‘hole in the wall’ style establishment, with a large outdoor seating area

Availability during some days including week days required for barista staff

The espresso bar has built a strong reputation for fast and high quality coffee. Previous experience as a barista in a fast-paced environment is a plus

Cocktail wait staff also should apply

You will need to have an interest in coffee and/ or wine

Experience with pizza would be a bonus
