Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Marketing Manager (Owned Channels) to lead the evolution and growth of their owned digital platforms, with a strong focus on social media, email, and app engagement. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and creative leader to transform how the brand connects with customers and builds loyalty across Australia.
As part of a collaborative team working with both local and international stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the brand's digital presence in the Australian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement transformation strategies for social media, email, and app channels.
- Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive content plans aligned with business objectives.
- Drive engagement through thoughtful storytelling and content that reflects brand values and purpose.
- Create a scalable framework for social media growth, with particular focus on Instagram and TikTok.
- Drive localised content creation to strengthen brand identity and communications.
- Own the briefing and execution of email and app content campaigns.
- Identify and activate new opportunities to boost brand awareness, customer loyalty, and digital engagement.
- Manage senior-level stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment across all key departments including marketing, PR, eCommerce, retail operations, and merchandising.
- Liaise with global teams to ensure best practices are shared and innovation is constant.
- Lead and mentor a small, dynamic team (1-2 direct reports).
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
- 4-7 years' experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on social media, email, and app channels.
- Proven ability to develop and implement transformation strategies across owned channels.
- Strong background in customer segmentation and personalization.
- Experience working in cross-cultural or global organizations is advantageous.
- Confident managing complex projects and aligning multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced understanding of platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce, Klaviyo, and others.
- Deep insight into social trends, digital behaviours, and audience engagement.
- Exceptional communication and copywriting skills, with a strong storytelling ability.
- Demonstrated experience managing internal and external stakeholders and streamlining cross-team workflows.
- Knowledge of other digital marketing areas such as paid social, SEO/SEM is a bonus.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and enthusiastic with a strategic mindset and high attention to detail.
