We are currently seeking a Junior Project Engineer to join their Brisbane-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and adaptable individual who is ready to make a measurable impact in the mining and resources sector.

About the Role
You’ll support the delivery of complex mining projects and work closely with senior engineers and project managers. The role requires a mix of project coordination, technical reporting, and commercial awareness—perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-moving and performance-driven environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with project planning, coordination, and technical execution
• Apply core project management skills—WBS, scheduling, cost tracking, risk management
• Prepare detailed reports and technical documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement across engineering and project delivery functions

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in project engineering (mining or mineral processing preferred)
• Strong technical, organisational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in project management software/tools
• Commercial awareness and ability to operate in a high-performance culture
• Adaptable, proactive, and growth-focused

Salary & Performance Model

This role offers a hybrid remuneration structure rewarding performance and billable project work:

• Base Salary: $79,700 (non-billable work) Potential $120,900+ (110% billable workload)
• Plus Superannuation
• Gain exposure globally. A database of 90 engineers sits in South Africa.
