A well-established Sydney-based mechanical services contractor is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a range of projects including high-rise residential, mixed-use developments, and light commercial buildings.
About the Role

In this role, you'll support the delivery of 2–3 concurrent projects, coordinating both site activities and office-based project management tasks. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of mechanical services from early design and planning through to final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, planning, coordination, and execution of HVAC systems across various building types
• Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure project objectives are met
• Conduct regular site inspections to oversee installation progress, quality, and compliance
• Support procurement, documentation, scheduling, and reporting tasks
• Help resolve design and construction issues with a solutions-focused mindset

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
• Proven experience in HVAC project delivery, ideally within residential high-rise, mixed-use, or light commercial projects
• Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders
• Capable of managing time and priorities across multiple active sites
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering/project management software
