Enterprise Plus was established in Queanbeyan, southern NSW in 1987 for the purpose of supporting small business development and creating employment & economic development. We are a Not-For-Profit that has delivered Australian, NSW, and ACT Government business advisory and education programs, workshops, and webinars, across regional NSW and the ACT for more than 30 years. Our professional team has assisted over 120,000 small business owners, individuals, and young people, to unlock their potential.

Enterprise Plus is managed by its Chief Executive Officer along with a team of highly skilled & experienced staff supported by a professional Board of Directors, providing strategic direction, corporate governance & community representation.

About the opportunity

Several years ago, the organisation went through a massive growth phase which coincided with another amalgamation with a similar organisation plus a major rebrand.

Today the organisation covers a territory that includes some 35 LGAs across most of the southern aspects of NSW.

We are currently looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to help shape the next stage in our evolution, a full-time position to take control of all aspects of our marketing and communications.

The Marketing Manager is a key role within the organisation, responsible for planning and implementation across all aspects of marketing, for every part of the organisation. Reporting to the CEO, the Marketing Manager needs the requisite all-round marketing, design, digital communications, events, and reporting capabilities and skills to help ensure the organisation is outsourcing minimal aspects to outside agencies or consultants.

This role would suit someone with several years’ corporate experience, seeking to gain exposure to a broader remit, running a stand-alone marketing function, and working closely with the senior management team and their various reports as well as other key stakeholder groups and organisations.

Qualifications and experience:

Essential:

Min 4 years marketing, design and communications experience

Tertiary qualifications in marketing and/or communications and/or business

Graphic design skills and capabilities ideally with Canva and the Adobe suite or products

Experience of writing compelling content in a business and/or education/learning context

Experience coordinating webinars, workshops, and events

Advanced skills in the use of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Blogs

Experience with boosting Facebook posts, coordinating Facebook ads and Google ads campaigns, and using Google Analytics

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), CMS, and CRM

Experience undertaking marketing-related administration and communications tasks as well as with measuring and reporting on ROI

Experience proofing, editing, and formatting documents and communications

Experience with designing and writing project briefs

Basic website editing and design capabilities in WordPress or similar

Some level of experience with Brand Management

Accountable for:

Managing the ongoing roll out of the Enterprise Plus brand including being aware of and adhering to Brand Guidelines

Writing, proofing, editing, and formatting content for business and education service provider programs, including webinars, workshops, blogs and documents into branded templates ready for distribution and publication

Source content and write original content

Designing digital images for website or social media as well as printed collateral consistent with Enterprise Plus brand guidelines and the brand guidelines of any government department or stakeholder working with the organisation (using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign or similar)

Managing all social media channels and all content added to these

Managing ongoing website design and evolution and any technical website updates or upgrades

Designing and managing distribution for the monthly newsletter and monthly events newsletter

Managing the Content Management System (CMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions

Producing monthly marketing reports detailing all activities, reach, penetration and ROI

Managing all collateral printing including printed brochures and flyers, banners, business card, name badges, building branding and vehicle fleet branding
