Your Role
At Adele House, we're dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery — and we're looking for compassionate, committed Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you'll play a key role in welcoming new residents, conducting entry assessments, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our site. You'll work closely with our AOD casework, counselling, and inclusion teams to deliver holistic, person-centered care that truly makes a difference.
Your Responsibility
Support clients with empathy, dignity, and inclusivity
Assist residents in following their case plans and connecting with essential services
Promote the safety and wellbeing of everyone on site through strong WHS and risk management practices
Facilitate meaningful client activities and support the upkeep of accommodation standards
Contribute to daily operations and attend team meetings
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records
Profile description:
You Will Need
- Minimum Cert IV in Community Services or relevant experience (or currently pursuing tertiary studies).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A team player with the ability to work independently.
- Experience in crisis management, with sound judgment in emergency situations.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in data collection systems.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including day, afternoon and sleepover shifts.
- NSW Driver's Licence
