About the Position
As the Collections and Exhibitions Officer, you will assist the Curator in the overall operations of the CDU Art Collection and Gallery.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
• A diploma level qualification in collection management, museology studies, visual arts or art history and/or relevant experience working in a collections management role in an art gallery or museum.
• Professional training and/or experience in documenting, handling and cataloguing works of art or objects.
• High-level computer skills including familiarity with Vernon Collection Management System or similar software and confident using the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Professional training and/or experience in the development and delivery of visual arts exhibitions, with experience installing artworks.
• Ability to work in a small team environment and prioritise tasks ensuring deadlines are met.
• Demonstrated ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders and demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 5. The base salary will be in the range of $73,502 – $84,914 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $85,997- $99,349 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
