About the Role:
Enerflex is seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and supervising Health, Safety, and Environmental standards within the Enerflex Service business in Australia. You will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, manage, and coordinate Enerflex Australia’s HSE Management System.
Provide legislative and regulatory advice on HSE matters.
Develop internal procedures, policies, and guidelines.
Collaborate with regional HSE colleagues and the Service Operations Manager.
Champion Zero Harm and promote a culture of shared safety responsibility.
Conduct HSE inspections, incident reports, and investigations.
Manage In-Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS) reporting.
Develop and deliver internal health and safety programs.
Monitor waste management and pollution prevention efforts.
Ensure compliance with safety requirements for contractors.
Prepare HSE documentation for bids and tenders.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety or equivalent.
7 years’ experience in the resource industry or a similar role.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
ISO/OSHAS Lead Auditor Certification (desirable).
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to manipulate data to create meaningful information.
Ability to manage multiple projects and sites.
Working Conditions:
Office-based role with visits to workshops and field sites.
Travel required, including potential stays in camp sites.
