HSE Advisor – Warehousing, Logistics & Plant Equipment
Location: Goulburn Region, NSW

Join a leading global engineering group delivering critical infrastructure in the renewable energy sector. This position offers the opportunity to support one of Australia’s most iconic energy projects, playing a key role in advancing sustainable energy outcomes.
We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to provide specialist health, safety, and environmental support for warehousing and logistics operations, including plant and equipment safety. This role is site-based in the Goulburn region and reports to the Onshore Project HSE Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert HSE guidance across warehousing, material handling, logistics, and equipment operations.
Develop and monitor HSE procedures and systems specific to logistics, storage, and mobile plant use.
Conduct risk assessments and routine inspections of warehouse zones and plant/equipment operations.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols for plant operation, maintenance checks, and operator licensing.
Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions related to logistics and equipment safety.
Deliver training and inductions on manual handling, warehouse safety, and plant/equipment operation.
Collaborate with logistics teams to integrate safety into transportation and inventory management.
Maintain accurate records and report warehouse-related HSE performance and KPIs.
Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) standards.
Support contractor management including pre-qualification, document review, and HSE engagement.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven HSE advisory experience, with strong focus on warehousing, logistics, and plant/equipment safety.
Detailed understanding of NSW WHS legislation and NHVR requirements.
Demonstrated experience managing contractor compliance and site-based HSE processes.
Skilled in developing risk assessments and safe work procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence at site level.
Relevant HSE qualifications (e.g., minimum Diploma in WHS or international equivalents such as NEBOSH).
ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Auditor certification highly desirable.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or international equivalent) preferred.
Valid Australian driver’s license required.
