Support Services Level 2 - $29.92 to $32.29 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) plus superannuation and benefits
Flexible hours based on patient occupancy
This is a permanent part-time position with a minimum guarantee of 16 hours per fortnight. Actual working hours will vary in line with patient occupancy levels, with potential to increase up to 64 to 76 hours per fortnight during peak periods. This flexibility provides a unique opportunity to balance work and lifestyle, while supporting our high-quality catering service.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, nutritionally appropriate meals and service to our patients and staff. Make a Difference Every Day......
Lead and supervise a team delivering 450+ meals daily, including snacks and beverages
Oversee the presentation and quality of meals and catered events
Ensure compliance with dietary protocols and food safety standards
Deliver efficient and reliable service across inpatient and event catering
Monitor team performance and support professional development
Promote teamwork and high standards in kitchen and service operations
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and workflow innovation
What makes a difference for us?
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a catering supervisor or menu monitor role
Background in healthcare or large-scale food service highly regarded
Demonstrated ability to lead a team and maintain a positive culture
Strong understanding of safe food handling, kitchen hygiene, and diet compliance
Excellent time management and communication skills
Well-developed customer service skills
High-level computer literacy and understanding of quality improvement processes
Exposure to retail or food sales environments beneficial
