About the role

Sage Education Australia is seeking a passionate and experienced Vocational Trainer/Assessor to deliver high-quality training and assessment for our Early Childhood Education and Care programs.

Location: Workplace visits within a 50 - 70 km range from Logan Central, 4114

Position: Part-time or Casual (potential for full-time)

Salary: Competitive hourly rate with fuel allowance, with an option of a company car in the near future

What you'll be doing

Workplace Assessments - 90% of the workload

Assessing students in their workplace

Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate student competency and progress

Providing individualised feedback and support to help students succeed

Training - 10% of the workload in the beginning

Delivering engaging and interactive training sessions to students, both in-person and online

Collaborating with the broader education team to continuously improve course content and delivery

Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

What we're looking for

Relevant vocational qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care, preferably including a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Extensive experience and strong knowledge of the Early Childhood Education and Care industry and the associated regulatory requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students

Proficient in the use of digital technologies and online learning platforms

A passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their goals
