The opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Fundraising Coordinator to join the AKKF team on a full-time ongoing basis. Reporting to the Senior Manager Marketing and Partnerships, the Senior Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for delivering significant and sustainable annual income across fundraising, major donors and other partnerships and activities for AKKF, as well as developing and executing best practice strategies to grow AKKF’s donor pipeline, bequestors and other partnerships.

Responsibilities include:

Major Giving program

• Develop and coordinate initiatives to support the retention, renewal and growth of donors to achieve annual revenue goals.

• Input into and delivery of key elements of the annual calendar of communications and events.

• Deliver on organisational and donor events and prospecting activities.

Grant Funding

• Identify and complete new philanthropic funding applications to achieve financial year targets.

• Manage and deliver on relationship, reporting and acquittal requirements.

Management of select philanthropic funding relationships.

Work with marketing team members to develop and deliver appeals.

Donor and partner management systems

Planning, implementing, training and monitoring donor and partner management systems to maximise donor and partner relationships.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Proven success in increasing major donor, bequest and philanthropic funding.

• A connector of relationships with the ability to work effectively to build rapport with a range of stakeholders including donors, ambassadors, suppliers, staff and volunteers.

• A seasoned planner, with experience in developing and delivering successful and engaging donor events.

• An exceptional communicator, both written and presentation skills.

CRM experience.

You will be required to:

Maintain a current satisfactory check for working with young people, as per the relevant state/territory legislation.

Maintain a current and satisfactory CrimCheck.

Maintain eligibility to work in Australia.
