The Organisation:
Our client is an independent, locally owned and operated firm, based in Toowoomba. Supporting a diverse portfolio of clients, the team offers services including: CFO advisory, Tax & BAS compliance, succession planning, restructuring guidance and bookkeeping. Naturally, their client base is rooted in supporting Agribusinesses, as well as individuals, sole traders, medical practices and more.

The Position:
As a growing firm, our client is now in a position to expand, bringing in an 'administrative all-rounder' to support the team. As the sole administrator (for now!) this role encompasses a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

  • Document preparation, data entry, and correspondence
  • Manage client records in line with privacy and compliance requirements (e.g. ATO guidelines)
  • Answer phones, greet clients, and manage meeting schedules
  • Assist in the lodgement of tax returns, BAS, IAS, and other documents via Xero & the ATO portal
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing mail, emails and calls
  • Coordinate client invoicing & payments
  • Monitor office supplies and liaise with suppliers when needed
  • Ensure the office environment is clean, welcoming, and well-organised

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • "Give it a go" attitude when approaching new tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and familiar with accounting practice software - namely Xero
  • Proactive, professional, and client-focused attitude
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team
