We have an exciting Jnr Sous Chef/ Sous Chef opportunity at Restaurant Two 2 Six, primely located at 226 Flinders Lane in Melbourne CBD. We are seeking a talented and experienced chef to join our team and help us deliver a high-quality dining experience to our guests.

Nestled in the ever-growing premium dining scene of Flinders Lane, Restaurant Two 2 Six is an elevated premium modern Australian dining experience specialising in a curated range of high-quality steaks and other delicious and diverse dishes; all with a focus on open fire cooking methods. At the forefront of the venue is a beautiful and dynamic cocktail bar offering a mix of classic twists, exciting new beverage ideas, small bites and share plates. If you are someone with fine dining experience, great organization and people skills, we would love to hear from you.

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes to our exacting standards. You will work closely with our Executive Chef and Head Chef to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard and in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workstation and have a good understanding and being hands on with all HACCP procedures.

The ideal candidate for these roles will have previous experience working in a fine dining restaurant and will be passionate about creativity and innovation of menu items. You must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. You should also have good leadership and mentoring skills and be able to work well as part of a team.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a Premium dining establishment
- Strong cooking skills and a passion for creating high-quality dishes
- Good communication skills and the ability to guide junior members of a team
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
