We are currently seeking a Casual Hotel Receptionist to join our friendly front office team at Peppers Docklands in Melbourne. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys guest interaction, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is keen to grow within the hospitality industry.

Location: 679 La Trobe Street, Docklands 3008, VIC - Peppers Docklands Hotel

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and professionally on arrival and departure

Manage check-ins, check-outs, and room allocations using the hotel PMS (Opera Cloud)

Answer guest inquiries and provide local recommendations

Handle phone calls, emails, and booking requests

Process payments and maintain accurate records

Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments as needed

About You:

Friendly, well-presented, and customer-service focused

Strong verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Basic computer skills; experience with hotel PMS (e.g., Opera Cloud, Newbook) is a bonus

Previous experience in hospitality or reception is desirable but not essential

Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings, and public holidays
