Role Overview:

We’re on the lookout for a skilled tiler to help deliver quality finishes across a range of residential projects. In this role, you’ll:

Read plans and drawings to figure out what’s needed for each job.

Measure and mark up surfaces to plan your layout.

Preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces.

Apply waterproofing where needed to keep things sealed and protected.

Using cutting tools to cut and shape tiles for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes.

Spread adhesive and lay tiles with care and precision.

Grout and polish tiles for a clean, professional finish.

Check your work to make sure it meets quality standards.

Following safety procedures at all times.

Collaborating with other trades and site supervisors to ensure timely project delivery.

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas.

About you

To be successful in these roles, you will need the following:

Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in wall and floor tiling.

Knowledge of tiling materials, adhesives, and waterproofing systems.

Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.

Skilled in the use of tile-cutting tools and equipment.

Attention to detail and quality.

White Card.

Driver’s Licence.

Work Safely at Heights.

National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
