About the role

Cleveland Timber & Hardware is seeking experienced Truck Drivers to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and reliable delivery of goods to our valued customers across the Townsville area. This is a casual role with regular almost full time hours.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate commercial vehicles, including rigid trucks or semi-trailers, to deliver timber or trusses to customer sites

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and report any issues

Load and unload vehicles, adhering to safe manual handling practices

Provide excellent customer service and liaise with customers to ensure their needs are met

Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

A current Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence with hiab ticket

Demonstrated experience as a Truck Driver, preferably in the road transport or logistics industry

Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and safe driving practices

Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering a high-quality service

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
