CHEF'S KITCHEN AUSTRALIA PTY LTD, operating under the brand Grant’s Meals, is a leader in high-quality ready-made meals, serving individuals, institutions, and aged care clients across Australia. As part of our growth, we are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our team in a full-time position.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Plan, prepare, and cook high-quality meals in line with company recipes and production schedules.
· Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation and cooking activities.
· Monitor kitchen hygiene and safety practices in accordance with HACCP and workplace standards.
· Assist in planning and adjusting menus to meet dietary requirements, production goals, and customer expectations.
· Estimate food requirements and manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
Position Requirements:
· A minimum of 1 year of relevant full-time experience.
· Relevant qualifications.
· Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and experience working under HACCP protocols.
· Proven ability to lead and supervise a team in a high-volume kitchen environment.
· Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
· Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as needed.
