With 101 beautifully appointed rooms, self-contained studio apartments, and a variety of stunning views over the river, parkland, and landscaped pool gardens, the Pagoda Resort & Spa is an iconic destination for both guests and employees. As part of our prestigious kitchen team, you'll have the chance to help deliver exceptional culinary experiences for our a la carte restaurant, banquets, and conferences.
You will play a key role in food preparation and production, delivering dishes that exceed customer expectations. You will thrive in our fast-paced, creative kitchen environment, helping to ensure smooth operations, high standards of cleanliness, and the success of every meal service.
- Prepare and cook high-quality food to exceed guest expectations.
- Assist in the planning of seasonal menus
- Contribute to a positive and team-focused kitchen environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Set up and manage kitchen tasks efficiently.
- Holds a qualification which is at least equivalent to an Australian Diploma in Hospitality or similar.
- Has relevant employment experience in all aspects of grill cooking, including buffet, banquets, and a la carte services (hotel or similar environment preferred). At least 12 months for the Chef positions, and at least 24 months for the Sous Chef position.
- Is organized with strong attention to detail.
- Can work flexible shifts, including weekends.
- Thrives in a team environment and handles a fast-paced kitchen.
- Has a passion for food and the hospitality industry.
- Brings a positive, “Can Do” attitude to every task.
