We are currently looking for experienced Graduate Architects & Design Architects with a strong background in front-end conceptual design through to Development Application (DA) phases, specifically across high-rise residential towers, Multi-residential apartments and mixed-use projects. This role is suited to someone with 4–10 years of post-graduate experience and a proven ability to work at the early stages of complex projects.

Our client is a design-led studio that delivers architecture that’s as bold as it is thoughtful. They’re looking for a conceptually driven designer who can bring clarity, creativity, and rigor to the early stages of complex projects, particularly in the multi-residential and mixed-use space. You’ll be working collaboratively with a team of sharp, design-focused minds, helping take projects from vision to DA and beyond.

In this role, you will:

Contribute to the conceptual and schematic design stages of large-scale residential and mixed-use projects

Bring clarity and creativity to the development of architectural narratives and design strategies

Translate big-picture thinking into detailed DA submissions and presentations

Work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio using ArchiCAD to develop both 3D concepts and 2D documentation

Leverage your understanding of urban design, planning controls, and residential typologies to shape innovative, feasible solutions

Attend design meetings, liaise with consultants, and contribute to the project direction early on

Play a key role in upholding design quality across projects while helping to foster a strong studio culture

What we’re looking for:

M.Arch - Masters of Architecture or Bachelors of Architecture

4–10 years’ experience post graduate in architectural practice

It is a requirement to have experience working locally in Australia across high-rise residential, multi-residential or mixed-use developments.

Demonstrated strength in front-end design thinking, particularly through concept and DA phases

Strong ArchiCAD skills (preferred but not essential if adaptable)

Proven understanding of local planning frameworks, design standards, and apartment guidelines

Confident communicator with the ability to present and defend design ideas

Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship is essential

A commitment to innovation, sustainability, and design excellence

Must be in Sydney currently and working locally for an Architectural practice.
