Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Trade Cert 3 and previous experience in fault finding, preferably in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. You should also possess confined space and working at heights permits, as well as a forklift license. Previous exposure to SAP and a current NCCHC (Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check) are also highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
  
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and carry out repairs as required
  
• Operate within a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant safety procedures and regulations
  
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
  
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work

Qualifications

• Mechanical Trade Cert 3
  
• Proven experience in fault finding
  
• Previous experience in an FMCG environment is advantageous
  
• Confined space and working at heights permits
  
• Forklift license is an advantage
  
• Previous exposure to SAP is desirable
  
• Current NCCHC certification (inside 3 months) or ability to obtain
